A small Danish vessel just below my window at the Admiral Hotel, Copenhagen.

Sunrise in Copenhagen.

Another little Danish boat.

Copenhagen Opera House across the harbor.

Water taxi beyond a yacht from Germany.

It turned out that this taxi had a little jazz band playing at the bow, probably in honor of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival that week!

Kongens Nytorv, a majestic square encircled by stately mansions, one of which is a hotel, another of which is the EEA headquarters building.

Copenhagen canal, yachts, and colorful buildings.

A large anchor at SW end of Store Strandstræde, where there were nightly concerts of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.

Statue in the middle of another majestic circle featuring the Amalienborg Palace, current residence of the royal family of Denmark.

Palace changing of the guard daily at noon.

One view from circle.

Opposite view, of the fountain.

Another view of the fountain.

Third view.

A park with the Admiral Hotel in the background.

Danish flag in flight.

Embassies across from hotel.

My hotel, The Admiral. An old granary from the 1700s that has been converted, very effectively, into a lovely hotel!

The Admiral's cannons and cannon balls.
