BROCHURE INSERTS

The printed UCGIS brochure is designed with a rear pocket to contain inserts that can be updated to contain current information. The files listed below contain such current information, formatted to fit on insert sheets. Members are invited to download these RTF documents and use them for printing inserts when preparing to distribute brochures.

Blank inserts are 8.25 x 10.75 inches, so they fit within the letter size brochure. They are preprinted with a capital "C" and a UCGIS map swatch down the right-most 2.5 inches. These parameters make printing these inserts tricky. Blank inserts can be printed directly by placing them face down in the input tray with the sheet flush on the top and right; some printers may not be able to print the tight margins. Alternatively, a standard letter sheet can be printed and the image transferred to the insert in a photocopier; for best results have insert bottom flush in input tray -- ie have the 1/4 gap at the top of the sheet.
